Lepus is a 16% Heaven Hill barrel aged barleywine. We tasted a selection of barrels in summer 2022 and this individual barrel stood out amongst the crowd. A rich aroma of honey, oak and vanilla pop out of the glass enticing the first sip. Initial flavours of fudge and dried fruits build into dominant raisins and sweet malts. It finishes smooth with notes of bourbon spirit and light candied fruits. Limited release of 189 bottles.
