According to many this is the King of the single variety apple. Collected from a private orchard in Cholsey South Oxfordshire. Our Kingston Black is a hazy, unfiltered, amber-coloured, maybe even orange, cider with fleeting carbonation. Taste-wise this is a powerful beast. There are plenty of hard and soft tannins and it is a ‘proper-job’ cider with loads of character. It is fresh, clean, balanced and has a good soft bittersweet body. Bottle conditioned.
