Our Monsters beers are parti-gyles: brewed with the richer, stronger wort from early in the brewing process. We hop & ferment them accordingly!
Way back in early 2020, we were signed on to host the homebrew winner for the Stockport Beer & Cider Festival, stout category, and brew their beer for the event. Other events got in the way, and we ended up brewing it in 2022.
That was the excellent Nathan Pratt’s ‘Limbo’, and Bardo was its inevitable big brother. The original small batch took Gold for Beer of the Festival, so we were persuaded to rebrew on a larger scale to allow the wider world a taste. Enjoy, and raise a glass to Nathan!
