We’re well documented about how passionate we are for a pale ale here at the brewery. For all the supercharged, high abv beers we produce, there’s sometimes nothing better than the straightforward simplicity of a well made pale ale. Bye Bye Bayou – named for an an obscure Alan Vega song, and subsequent LCD Soundsystem cover, our head of sales Arron plays almost daily – is everything we love about those reeled back, slightly lower abv beers perfect for supping several of. Featuring an easygoing and laid back hop bill of Amarillo and Simcoe, this beer bursts with all the typical Polly’s notes; berries, apricot, passionfruit and mango, but with pronounced pine and earthy notes to keep everything in check, and wrapped up in our signature LA3 yeast profile.
