The third brew in our 5th Birthday series saw us team up with the legendary Weird Beard – a brewery who played a huge part in us coming to be! We brewed a beer inspired by a favourite of theirs, Follow The Worms. In this new take on the base recipe we used layers of complex malts and sugars to produce a gently roasty stout to which chocolate, chilli and vanilla were added for a cake-like vibe!
Expect a deep mahogany coloured beer with aromas of sweet caramel and chocolate. You’ll get a big chocolate hit as it washes over the palate with notes of vanilla with gentle warming chilli in a long and satisfyingly dry toasty finish.
